Our Story

The workload is distributed among three collection teams: two dedicated to individual pet collections and one focused on bulk collections from local pounds.

For private pets, Wilfred and Yuseen cover the Southern Suburbs, City Centre, and Atlantic Seaboard, while Jorge specializes in the Helderberg, Winelands, Northern, and West Coast Suburbs.
Dawood and his assistant, George are responsible for collecting bulk animal bodies for compost from local pounds six days a week.
This division of labour ensures efficient coverage across all areas, allowing our team to deliver the best possible service to our clients. All teams manage equine collections extending to Wellington, Paarl, and Darling, and our outstanding reputation among equine vets and horse owners reflects our dedication to handling horse collections with the highest level of care. We take pride in treating all animals with equal attention and compassion.

Amanda oversees collection requests, logistics, weekly product preparation, and account management. As the main point of contact, Amanda is available seven days a week via call, WhatsApp, or email.

Pet Farewells Pty Ltd is officially accredited by the City of Cape Town.
We have a dedicated team that collects from various vet, pounds and private homes, seven days a week.
We have grown organically, earning a reputation for going above and beyond while delivering quality service.
We maintain strong working relationships with all our competitors, collaborating when necessary.
Our storage facility is located at the PDSA in Bridgetown, where we have been tenants for over a decade.
Since 2012, we have been pioneers in animal composting.
We hold a license to collect and transport medical waste.
