Cremations
STANDARD/COMMUNAL CREMATIONS
This process involves a communal cremation, conducted with the utmost dignity and care. While the ashes will not be returned to you, you will receive a certification of cremation. To honour your pet during this procedure, we scatter the ashes of all pets undergoing communal cremation at our composting site, preventing them from ending up in a landfill. Additionally, you have the option to have a paw print in a frame or memory tree planted through the dynamic social enterprise, Green-Pop.
RETURN OF ASHES
Our cremations are conducted at BCL, also known as R.I.Pets, which operates an advanced cremation unit featuring separate compartments that can be adjusted to accommodate the size of each pet, guaranteeing that every pet is cremated individually. The ashes are returned to the owner or veterinary practice within 3 to 7 working days, depending on the collection day.
We perform cremations two to three times a week in small batches to maintain control over the process, being mindful of the emotions tied to each beloved pet. Once the cremation is finished, the ashes are placed in individual containers labelled with the pet’s name and surname, and our team transports them to our facility. There, the ashes are placed into their designated products, which are prepared for delivery.
If the volume of a pet’s ashes exceeds the capacity of the chosen product, the pet owner may receive multiple items to ensure that they receive all of their pet’s remains.
Each cremation is returned in the chosen product, along with a cremation certificate confirming the cremation date.
